Announcing the release of Goldielocks’ single “Moonbeam”. Subsequent to his debut EP “Breathe”, comes a wild ride of dreamy, sugar-magic.

“Moonbeam” is a head-nodding, knee-bending banger, whose grooves are built around a tasteful sample of Adele’s “Skyfall”. The first sound we hear is the diva’s voice, asking us to “feel the earth move”. Moments later we do. The core lyric, dropped down an octave or more, knocks you in the gut. “I’ve dreamt and dreamt this moment”, croons the ethereal Adele, a phrase which summarises the swooning, blissful, yet surreal experience of the song.

The beat and sample punctuate the sparse production, as swirling synths lead us, then drop us into the ecstatic whirlpool of a chorus. This song is in constant flux. It pushes and pulls at the fabric of your soul, moving and then pausing, relishing the space of silence as we hold our breath for it to return.
